Cimarron Cowboy Church is a gathering of believers nestled in the heart of Guthrie, OK. Founded in February 2025 as ‘Community Cowboy Church’, Drew Edington, Jon Ridge, and Jim Garling launched the church as a ministry of Guthrie’s ‘Community Church’ and started gathering weekly in the Venue. With time, the crew was able to host multiple offsite events including Arena nights and rodeo appearances in town at the Logan county fairgrounds. Recently after prayer and much careful consideration they felt the Lord calling them to move off site of Community, and with the blessing of the Elders and Pastors, a new plan to be in a new central location by summer 2026 as an independent church plant began. Serving the needs of those in Guthrie, and with a mission to “Gather the Strays to the Lord” they will follow their calling and continue a model of discipleship and outreach while remaining rooted in the inerrant Word of the Bible.
